My Mother's Hands. Original work by Me.

There comes a time in one's life, that they begin to question everything they've been raised on. The traditions, customs, morals, and values of their family's history. And one begins to wonder, if she is turning into anything like her mother. A big heart, bruised by words and actions alike. Callous to a point, except when it comes to her children. And then I remember, even in the midst of all that I'm going thru, Yes, I'm just like my mother. I am the best parts of her. Rampant with passion and ingenuity. Creative beyond even genius capacity. Stubborn like a donkey, steadfast in what I believe. I fall hard, and love harder. I trust everything that smiles. I have my mother's hands. That, I'm most proud of. The hands that bathed me, when I was too young, who caressed my cheek when I was crying from broken heart. The hands that are attached to her arms, for amazing hugs...my mother's hands
.. I am proud to be my mother's daughter.

Why are we so judgemental? Let's first see the entire definition of the verb.

–verb (used without object)
13. to act as a judge; pass judgment
14. to form an opinion or estimate
15. to make a mental judgment.

So....shouldn't that take time, and...what's that? Effort. Yeah. Effort. In some situations this can change someone's life....just because it changes someone's life, do you actually take your time when you're making your decision? That's not fair. If you're meeting someone for the first time, and they might ask you questions, to get to know you, that happen to start the waterworks, does that mean they're a bad person? Does it make them a creep? How could it?

Did I say something to offend you? Did I look different? My religion? It offends you? Then accept me. I never asked you to like me, I simply asked you to be respectful and accept that I have no obligation to you and therefore probably won't change for you, unless I want to. Judge me harshly. Judge me however you like, affect me it does not. Try me...
